The region
The charming village of Saint-Roman-de-Malegarde lies on the northern slopes of the Cairanne and Rasteau massif. Read more at Wikipedia
Although the village is located in the Vaucluse department, it borders the Drôme. The Aygues River, which flows a few hundred meters below, forms the natural border between the two. Well-known Provençal towns such as Nyons and Vaison-la-Romaine are just a stone's throw away. The foot of Mont Ventoux is 23 km away in Malaucène and 35 km away in Bédoin.
Le Colombier is nestled at the top of a cluster of houses, 500 metres from the village centre, just below the vineyards on the slopes of the massif.
